GRATE NEWS!! Purity Pure UBU scoops the Silver Award at the Grate Warwickshire Beer Festival.
“GRATE ALE-WARWICKSHIRE’S LATEST BREWERY SCOOPS PRESTIGOUS AWARD”
After just 5 months of brewing, The Purity Brewing Co’s ale Pure UBU (pronounced oo-boo) scooped the Silver Award for the CHAMPION BEER OF WARWICKSHIRE 2006. Having perfected the brews over the Winter months the customers at this years GRATE WARWICKSHIRE BEER FESTIVAL couldn’t wait. They all recognised the quality and, above all flavour of this new beer. This is very much a reflection of Purity Brewing Co’s passion and commitment to creating a perfect pint.
All thirteen Warwickshire independent breweries participated and were challenged to produce the beer that best complements cheese. When buying a pint of real ale during the festival, punters were given a complimentary selection of four cheeses produced by Fowlers of Earlswood, the country's oldest cheese making family business and a polling card to tick which beer they preferred. Eventually through elimination this was narrowed down to the most popular 6 Beers and then into the Final. Purity was awarded the Silver Medal, their first award!
Since then, barrels are literally rolling out of the Brewery as demand has really taken off….
Paul Halsey comments “Winning Silver at The Champion Beer of Warwickshire 2006 has been a great seal of Approval from our discerning customers. Everyone at Purity is delighted with the award and it really reflects all the hard work that’s been put in to create our Beers“ |
