| PURITY AWARDED FOR SERVICES TO MUSIC |
| |
Paul Halsey was "chuffed to bits" when he was called to the stage at the Society of Independent Brewers awards ceremony. Purity has been Highly Commended by Siba for the work we do with Birmingham’s beloved Moseley Folk festival.
For the past four years, Purity has stocked the festival bar with plenty of premium cask ale, cider and imported lagers. We are now doing the same for Mostly Jazz Festival which had its first year in 2010. The bars get great feedback from all you folk who tell us that it stands out from the other festival bars.
Festival organiser Gerv Havill was pleased to hear the news "Purity makes excellent beer first and foremost. It's great that we have such a dynamic and accomplished brewer on our doorstep and also one that appreciates good music and is as keen as us to support the local community. "
Paul Halsey went on to say "We just want to make sure we support the events our drinkers want to go to. It’s fantastic to go over to Moseley Park each year and have a chat to other ‘folkies’ and see so many people enjoying our beer alongside a great line up of artists."
Dates for Moseley Folk Festival and Mostly Jazz Festival 2011 will be announced in January. Like UBU on Facebook or follow @Purityale on Twitter for details.
