JIMBO is brewed with Pilgrim for that initial bitterness and then the classics Fuggles and Goldings as well as Emperor – a brand new hop as part of the Charles Faram hop breeding program. These classic and new wave hops give JIMBO aromas of mixed berries, crisp apple, yet all balanced with a well-rounded nutty bitter finish. GLUTEN FREE & VEGAN FRIENDLY.
As part of Purity’s commitment to the local community and a further way of continuing Jim’s legacy the brewery is donating 5p per pint to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (PCRF). Features a built-in tap for pouring. Contains live beer and requires venting and settling two days before serving. Best before date is four weeks from production date. Once opened do not move or disturb the minicask and consume within three days. Store in a cool place, between 10 and 12 degrees.
To guarantee you can enjoy our beer in optimum condition, all our mini cask carry a maximum of 4 weeks shelf life. You should receive your beer with at least 2 weeks left on the best before date.

Our gluten free beers are gluten reduced to a threshold of less than 20 ppm (parts per million) which in the UK is regarded as Gluten Free (not in Europe). Although brewed with glutenous cereal, to achieve Gluten Free status we add an enzyme (Brewers Clarex) during the conditioning of the beer. This enzyme does not affect the taste but just denatures the Gluten. Using Brewers Clarex is a well-known & common practice across the brewing industry, and we are proud that many of our beers can be called ‘Gluten Free’
