Mad Goose Mini Cask

4.2% ABV Pale Ale
Vegan

To guarantee you can enjoy our beer in optimum condition, all our mini cask carry a maximum of 4 weeks shelf life. You should receive your beer with at least 2 weeks left on the best before date.

When Purity went about modernising cask beer for new drinkers in 2005 we took inspiration from Britain’s glorious brewing history and alloyed it with the best elements of the vibrant new craft brewing scenes cropping up in places like America and Australia. A move that was considered Mad by many in traditional brewing quarters. The only distraction from this goal proved to be a nesting Goose on our farm who seemed hell bent on chasing off customers and important beer buyers who came to visit. Undeterred Paul, Jim and new head brewer Flo pursued perfection in the Pale Ale category.

Released in 2007 Mad Goose presents the pinnacle of this aspiration and could be considered the Godfather of the modern Pale Ale styles that have now become ubiquitous in Britain’s craft beer boom.

Perfectly balancing a premium malt bill with whole cone US hops Mad Goose has elements to keep every beer fan happy;  from the traditional ale drinker to fans of the new wave of IPA’s DIPA’s SIPA’s and TRIPA’s.
