Pure Helles is brewed following the Reinheitsgebot Purity Laws of 1516 to give a lager with a clean, refreshing and bright appearance but with that unmistakeable Purity character.
Our gluten free beers are reduced to a threshold of less than 20 ppm (parts per million) which in the UK is regarded as Gluten Free (not in Europe). Although brewed with glutenous cereal, to achieve Gluten Free status we add an enzyme (Brewers Clarex) during the conditioning of the beer. This enzyme does not affect the taste but just denatures the Gluten. Using Brewers Clarex is a well-known & common practice across the brewing industry, and we are proud that many of our beers can be called ‘Gluten Free’
