Pure UBU – Full-Flavoured Amber Ale by Purity Brewing | 4.5% ABV | Vegan

No beer better represents our Great Beer, Real Character values than Pure UBU (pronounced OO BOO).  It has been a much-loved and familiar favourite in our West Midlands heartland since first being brewed in 2005. Adding a citrus hop twist with vibrant aroma to a traditional amber ale lifted UBU above the crowd of samey brown beers and placed it at the top of the list for fans of great cask ale.

Interesting fact. The illustrated dog on the bottle was actually based on a farm dog called Tess. If you want to know how the name UBU came about, you’ll have to buy a bottle or two… or join us on one of our Saturday Brewery Tours.
