We are nothing without our community and partners. They are what inspire and drive us forward to continue brewing our Pure Quality beers. Our growth is down to our community and we are proud to support our local community in many ways from grass roots rugby to jumping in the saddle for 100 mile rides in aid of our designated charity.
Purity is a name synonymous with music and the arts and thanks to our support for music events such as Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul, Moseley Folk, Camper Calling and Lunar Festivals like to keep our finger on the cultural pulse. Our customers are discerning when it comes to culture and accordingly they are discerning when it comes to the beer they drink.
We’ll be returning to a number of festivals across the summer so stay tuned to our social media to find out where our headline beers will be topping the bill this summer.
Rugby has played a huge part in the story of Purity. Talk to our founders Paul & Jim and you understand that some of the key values associated with a rugby team can be found at Purity. They built their business on core values they had installed into them as team mates at Kings Norton RFC, respecting others, a democratic attitude and rewarding hard work.
Ever since we started brewing we’ve been a long term supporter of rugby from grass roots all the way to the top of the professional pyramid. We have team members for Moseley, Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham & Solihull Bees as well. In 2015 we became official partners of both Wasps Rugby and Coventry Rugby a real game changer for both Purity and the beer industry with the Ricoh Arena now the only Cask Marque accredited stadium in the UK. We also support a number of clubs including Birmingham & Solihull Bees, Stratford upon Avon, Kenilworth, Earlsdon and Camp Hill.
Cycling is another passion at Purity HQ with our brewery site located on a bike ride and many of the team use two wheels to get to and from work. Therefore when Velo Birmingham approached us to become partners we jumped at the opportunity to get involved, 2019 will see 5 of Team Purity buckle into their pedals and take on their biggest challenge yet.
In the summer of 2018 we created the Mad Goose Chase a monthly cycling social, celebrating that first bike ride that found our brewery the Mad Goose Chase is an opportunity for cycling and Purity fans to meet at the brewery. With our on-site tap room open for those post, pre or even mid ride pit stops the Mad Goose Chase community continues to grow and it returns in April 2019 we hope to see you there.
Purity Brewing Company is passionate about beer with a bite. This is why we are committed to working with the best chef’s and food writers in the country to achieve an unrivalled level of beer and food matching. We are not simply concerned with how the beers work with the dishes as a whole but how the individual ingredients in each beer/ dish impact on one another.
Birmingham is home to the highest number of Michelin Stars outside of London. Purity is a proud supplier to many of them; Carter’s of Moseley, Simpson’s, The Cross Kenilworth and Hampton Manor. As well as working closely with Salt Stratford, Wild Rabbit Kingham, Riverford at The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Richmond in London.
We work closely with the chefs to develop a perfectly created beer menu and look to pair each dish with the perfect beer. We host regular beer and food evenings with our customers and host regular pop up events with Purecraft Bar & Kitchen where we bring great food and craft beer together.
