Now brewed with entirely 100% British ingredients : Pale, Crystal and roasted malts alongside Pilgrim, Jester, Godiva and British grown Chinook hops for a smooth, satisfying beer with malty overtones.
When Purity went about modernising cask beer for new drinkers in 2005 we took inspiration from Britain’s glorious brewing history and alloyed it with the best elements of the vibrant new craft brewing scenes cropping up in places like America and Australia.
No beer better represents our Great Beer, Real Character values than Pure UBU (pronounced OO BOO). It has been a much loved and familiar favourite in our West Midlands heartland since first being brewed in 2005. Adding a citrus hop twist with vibrant aroma to a traditional amber ale lifted UBU above the crowd of samey brown beers and placed it at the top of the list for fans of great cask ale.
